What can decades of living entangled in the tight grip of an unbreakable stronghold of addiction do to one’s esteem?  How does hope transform a self-inflicting drug abuser, traumatized, and drowning in self-hate find the courage to change her entire life?  Aberjahni wrote, “A bridge of silver wings stretches from the dead ashes of an unforgiving nightmare to the jeweled vision of a life started anew.”  The transformation for Pesinsia Lowery happened when she crossed the ‘Bridge’. Fourteen Years ago, it was God that met her at the beginning of the bridge.  Although she was broken, His Grace was the ‘light’ at her feet.  His Mercy bridged the gaps in her life to make her ‘Whole’. This is where her life started ‘anew’.

Today, Pesinsia Lowery is recognized by many as a compassionate caregiver whose love flows like deep rivers. She is the Founder and CEO of Building Bridges, Inc.  She believes His promises and says, “There is HOPE for everyone.  You are not “broke” and beyond repair, you are broken and deserve love and care.” 

It is from her personal experiences and resounding prayers that she draws her energetic dedication to help anyone that is drawn to her. She provides a warm meal, a place to bathe and rest.  Her home is a judgment-free zone.  She offers compassion, respect, and tolerance. Dignity is restored here. Although it seemed random that the weary found their way to Pesinsia, she deems it serendipity. She created a Shared Living place in her house to encourage independence, foster confidence and instill Hope. 

Pesinsia recognized that people can see similarities and relate more comfortably than differences.  Her traumatizing experiences were not designed to ‘kill’ her, however, were allowed to strengthen her.  She meets individuals believing they are destined for lives without any hope.   She offers a bridge "of silver wings".  

Building Bridges Ministries International, Inc. is more than a Shared Living Home.  With Pesinsia's Vision for empowering people, she creates bridges to meet people where they are offering an alternate path. 

You will find Building Bridges Ministries International, Inc., events in neighborhoods that are abundantly filled with children and families deemed 'disadvantaged'.  Mentors, Entrepreneurs, Educators and Public Speakers are enthusiastically building bridges at these events.  

BBMI, Inc. has a devoted ministry for teen moms and those incarcerated mentally and physically.  Respectfully working with each individual to devise a constructive plan for improving their choices and quality of life.
